Hello! I’m Lily
Founder of Petal & Pine Therapy
As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I work with people navigating a range of challenges and stressors. My goal is to enhance your well being and empower you to feel more connected to your most authentic self. I chose this career because I deeply believe in the power of feeling seen, heard, and understood. While each of our journeys is uniquely our own, we don’t have to walk them alone.
I believe the stories we tell about our lives and experiences hold power. But often we allow these stories to be written by others or to hold us in a place of unhappiness. My job is to help you write the chapters of your life you actually want to live and close the book on the chapters that are no longer serving you.
My Approach
I believe therapy should be as unique as you are. My goal is to create a compassionate and nurturing space where you feel safe to explore and grow. Just as I prioritize transparency with my clients, I encourage open feedback about what’s working and what isn’t. This is your space, and while I’m here to guide you, you are always in the driver’s seat.
Specialties
I specialize in helping people with self-esteem, perfectionism, and navigating big life changes. Whether you’ve found yourself doubting your own abilities, feeling like you’re never enough, or trying to figure out the next step, I can help! I am passionate about working with high achieving women wanting to create more sustainable practices for themselves without compromising on their high standards.
Apart from individual therapy, I also specialize in couples therapy. I work with couples who are wanting to create a joint life together and let go of toxic patterns like conflict and miscommunication. Using evidence based practices, I support couples in understanding each other feelings, finding the words to use that they both understand, and creating a toolkit of skills to use when things get rocky.

Outside of therapy
When I’m not with clients, you’ll often find me outdoors with my husband and our dog, Nokhu (who occasionally makes a guest appearance in sessions). I’m an avid runner who loves both roads and trails, but I’m also a homebody at heart. Most days you’ll find me curled up with a good book or podcast, always with coffee (and usually a sweet treat) nearby.
